Mechanical & Equipment Hire Section

This Section will perform the following activities:

(i) Coordinate the formulation of short and long term mechanical work programs.

(ii) Coordinate and supervise the implementation of mechanical works and programs.

(iii) Initiate and promote policies, plans and programs that will enhance quality of mechanical services and maintenance works.

(iv) Oversee the implementation of mechanical works services and maintenance activities in production centers.

(v) Assist the director on development and updating of the production and maintenance works manuals, guidelines and standards on mechanical issues.

(vi) Formulate and establish the implementation of quality maintenance standards for mechanical works.

(vii) Coordinate and consolidate mechanical activities reports and submit to the director of production, maintenance works and equipment hire for consolidation.

(viii) Coordinate the formulation of short and long term equipment hire services programs.

(ix) Coordinate and supervise the implementation of equipment hire services programs.

(x) Initiate and promote policies, plans and programs that will enhance quality of equipment hire services.

(xi) Formulate and establish effective programs for the implementation of quality maintenance standards for equipment hire.

(xii) Coordinate and consolidate equipment hire's reports from time to time.
