Maintenance & Technical Services Directorate
Maintenance and Technical Services Directorate is responsible for the overall management of the functions related to production and maintenance works. The division is headed by the Director of Maintenance and Technical Services who reports directly to the Chief Executive. The Division is specifically envisaged to:
(a) Formulate short and long term production, maintenance works programmes and supervise the implementation of such programmes.
(b) Formulate and enforce production, maintenance works regulations and procedures.
(c) Formulate an effective production and maintenance works management system.
(d) Draw up an effective programmes for the strengthening and modernization of the existing workshops in all Regions.
(e) Formulate, establish and supervise the implementation of quality maintenance standards for electrical, mechanical and electronics works in all Regions.
(f) Undertake any other functions as may be directed by the Chief Executive from time to time.
Ferry Operations & Construction Directorate
The Department is responsible for overall management of Government owned ferry Services and Construction of new ferries. The division is headed by the Director of Ferry Operations and Construction who reports to the Chief Executive.
(a) Manage the functions of Ferry services Division of the Agency.
(b) Formulate short and long-term work programmes and supervise the implementation of such programmes.
(c) Draw up an effective programme for new Ferry Constructions to ensure that TEMESA becomes a reliable source of ferry services.
(d) Formulate an appropriate programme for acquiring appropriate pontoons and or boats; strengthening of offshore services and facilities and negotiating arrangements for alternative availability of such services from private sector.
(e) Undertake any other functions as may directed by the Chief Executive from time to time.
Business Support Services Directorate
The Functions of Business Support Services Division are as follows:
(a) Provide backup support services in Financial Management, Accounts, Administration, Human Resources Management, Procurement, Marketing and Customer services.
(b) Establish and implement an Information Management System at Headquarters and all Regional Offices.
(c) Undertake any other functions as may be directed by the Chief Executive from time to time.
